The fourfold steam locomotive, hauling five carriages, was passing through Keighley en route to its West Coast Railways base at Carnforth. Engines – Merchant Navy class 35016 British India Line, the Royal Scot class 46115 Scots Guardsman, Jubilee class Galatea running as classmate 45627 Sierra Leone, and Black Five 44932 – were returning 'home' from a major railways celebration in Derbyshire.
