The KiHa 285 series was a tilting diesel multiple unit (DMU) train type developed by Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido), originally intended for use on limited express services in Hokkaido, Japan. The track is two-track and 64 kilometers long. Due to major water damage, the track was put into use only a year after the opening of Gardermoen Airport on October 22, 1999.
