500 Series Japan.

 The 500 series (now V 7) is a Shinkansen high-speed train type operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR-West) on the Tōkaidō Shinkansen and San'yō Shinkansen lines in Japan since 1997. They were designed to be capable of 320 km/h (200 mph) but operated at 300 km/h (185 mph), until they were finally retired from the primary Nozomi service in 2010. The trainsets were then refurbished and downgraded to the all-stations Kodama service between Shin-Ōsaka and Hakata. 



Twilight Express Mizukaze, is a luxury hybrid diesel multiple unit (DMU) sleeping-car excursion train, on a test run.


 

British Rail Class 720 Aventra is a class of electric multiple units built by Bombardier for Greater Anglia.


 

LNER's historic rail vehicle preservation group, has (over 13 yrs!) restored long-lost Gresley “Coronation” observation car 1729 from a wreck to its original 1937 order.

Japan 3000 series SE.

The Odakyu 3000 series or SE (Super Express), later becoming SSE (Short Super Express), was a "Romancecar" electric multiple unit (EMU) train type operated by the Odakyu Electric Railway in the Tokyo area of Japan. It was the recipient of the inaugural Blue Ribbon Award presented by the Japan Railfan Club in 1958.

BR Class 55.

 British Rail Class 55 is a class of diesel locomotive built in 1961 and 1962 by English Electric. They were designed for the high-speed express passenger services on the East Coast Main Line between London King's Cross and Edinburgh. They gained the name "Deltic" from the prototype locomotive, DP1 Deltic,

 The London & South Western Railway's Waterloo Station 'A' Signal Box in 1902. Apparently, at this point it was the signal box with the second largest number of levers in Britain, 250. It was only beaten by London Bridge (Brighton Line) North Cabin, which had 280 levers.
