Riders in northern China to stay warm on new trains. A cold-weather subway train. China's first such trains, produced in Changchun, The trains are designed with special heating and heat preservation. For example, they have high-power air conditioners and electric heaters under the seats, to keep them running in extreme cold weather, such as -38 C.
