In the background Derby Etches Park depot can be seen, while the RTC complex shows the Engineering Development Unit (EDU) in the upper far right, the Vehicles Lab (tracks 7/8) in the middle and in the right foreground the side of the Engineering Test Hall. Various bits are seen in the yard, possible the most interesting is 'Peak' Class 45/1 No. 45136 one of half a dozen set aside for RTC use (which never happened) and were later stored at Eggington Junction before scrap. In the yard are a pair of new O&K Yeoman hoppers and Mk4 DVT 82202.
