Deutsche Reichsbahn Class 03(lightweight 2-cylinder pacific) No. 154, with add-on experimental streamlined casing. In the summer of 1934, 03 154 underwent extensive test runs by the locomotive testing department in Berlin-Grunewald. In order to create space for the measuring devices, it temporarily lost its wind deflectors. The picture was taken in Hamburg-Altona train station, which was then called Altona Hauptbahnhof.
