BTC-3 529 (MBB, 1987-88) was delivered to the Kinki Sharyo International LLC facility in Piscataway, New Jersey for rebuilding on its own trucks. Due to complications with the contract, the car is seen on October 2021 being prepared for transfer to Delaware Car Company in Wilmington, DE on rubber tires by Silk Road Specialized, where the work will be completed. This car had been stored out of service for several years before the rebuild contract was issued.
