Diesel Multiple Unit and coal train at Trent Station, Nottinghamshire. It was once at the hub of a busy rail network – yet was situated in the middle of nowhere. It didn't serve any community. It was a station without a town; no buses passed by, there was no taxi rank – and passengers had to walk more than half a mile from Long Eaton to get there.
